Tilt-shift video on Smashing Magazine

Wow. I was building my Tubemogul profile when I saw the stats for my videos. Needless to say, I was astounded that they have gone up majorly in the past few days. The reason: this video.

It made a post on Smashing Magazine entitled 50 Beautiful Examples of Tilt-Shift Photography. I’m honored, especially since it was my first crack at doing video in this way. I’m pissed because the only version is the low rez (it took sooooo long to render I had to keep cutting down length and resolution just to finish it).

Either way, though, I’m stoked. Thanks, Smashing Magazine!

To see how it’s made, take a look at this.

P.S. I also screw around with photos. If you haven’t seen it, this one is of Downtown Reno from a balloon.
