The Girl Sings "Don't Stop Believin'" by Journey

We hit the July Reno Tweetup last night at Lamppost Pizza, complete with a karaoke setup (they have that every Friday night). After hanging around the books listing the songs for about an hour, I got The Girl to put in for one. This was her first time ever doing karaoke.

We’re heading to see Journey tonight in Downtown Reno, and she digs their stuff on Rock Band, so that’s what she went for. When she began, she really turned heads. She was a little kid who knew the song and could sing it like it was supposed to be sung. People kept looking at me like they couldn’t believe how good she was. What an awesome time. I grabbed a recording of it, so have a listen yourself.

Best part of the Journey show: The Girl slept through this song! Yes, slept. We woke her up, and she was tooling around, but in the car ride home she asked if they ever sang it. That was good for a laugh.
