Misc: Because Scoble is empirical data
This might be the only thing that could cause me to bring back the Self-importance Meter. Scoble now says that since his blog only garnered a few comments on a post, but more response in other social apps, blog comments are dead.
Wait, what am I saying? Who said it? Oh yeah, of course blog comments are dead.
Also note the ironic call to action. Brilliant.

Saw that—I like FriendFeed….ALOT. Funny how sites blogs like Think Progress, Crooks and Liars, etc., are still getting hundreds of comments per post.
Tomorrow Scoble will post about how awesome blog comments are because he’s getting a bunch on his post about blog comments being dead.
Still haven’t tried FriendFeed. Maybe I will, but I looked at it really briefly and it didn’t strike me as something I’d like. I’m almost at critical mass for social sites. I need to clean myself up.
