Every Wednesday night this summer, environmental organizations, businesses, and educational groups are gathering at the West Street to inform the community about environmental challenges and the many initiatives moving the Truckee meadows toward more sustainability.

Sounds like a plan!

Starting Wednesday, July 9 (today for most of you) the West Street Market downtown will play host to Eco-Night, an event put on by Nevada Econet. More information is available on their website.

Make Eco-Night a part of your downtown experience. It’s the perfect Artown companion—sustainability. Check it out as part of the killer West Street Market that’s going to make downtown an even better destination than it’s become recently.

Yes! Yes! Maybe I will make Reno really the place I stay, as a retiree.
I love living downtown already, but down the road it will be easier to
get real food without having to travel some distance. For some reason,
many metro downtown places don’t believe in supermarkets downtown.
