Because I wrote this, I figured I’d offer the readers this.
That’s some funny stuff. And it’s only better that Tim McCarver is portrayed as a tool too. I actually think they understated his idiocy.

I don’t mind Buck, but McCarver is horrible. He actually said this in Game 3 of the Dodgers-Mets series, “Remember, it’s not where the ball is caught that counts, it’s where it crosses the plate.” I’m glad they’ve decided the biggest demo for playoff games is T-ball kids. McCarver sucks. So does anybody who thinks Jeter belongs at short instead of moving over to third so the better shortstop could play at short. But I know, it’s Jeter’s team and all that.
