Misc: Just curious

I changed the way the header image displays. It used to be a revolving banner that dissolved from one image to the next using Flash. Now it’s a static image that randomly displays one of seven. Has anyone noticed a difference, or were most of you already using Firefox?

OMG, an awful awful and Lawlor spirit! I like static, it doesn’t take away from the rest of the page.

I can picture the mess the awful awful can make on my sweater just thinking about it.

I liked the rotating banner, it final worked on IE for me.

That Lawlor shot is maybe my all-time favorite that I’ve shot. I got lucky and turned around right after the Pack hit a shot at the buzzer of the first half and the student section went nuts. And you should join the Awful Awful group on Flickr. Get a few shots and put them up there.

I liked the banner too, but it was just more trouble than it was worth. For one, when it’s the same pictures over and over it might get old. I don’t shoot enough to come up with new stuff and rebuild it. The random images will be way easier to add/subtract. I’m kind of surprised it worked in IE. I noticed from other people that it didn’t. Wonder what happened to fix that.

I use Firefox and haven’t noticed any major difference. Looks good to me!
