The second installment of my “My neighborhood at…” project(s). The first, My neighborhood at…28mm was a black and white group of photos as explained at the link.

This installment was taken at 14mm, using my Canon 10-22mm lens and a circular polarizing filter. For the uninitiated, the circular polarizer makes the colors pop out a tremendous amount against a dark sky. It’s a filter I almost never shoot without when shooting outdoors. I use it in video work as well as photography.

I have fun with this project when I can actually do it. It took over six months to get the second part done, and I’ll do more, but the battle is getting out to do it.
