I hit up a Google search of Twitter today and noticed that one of Twitter’s Sitelinks is “Barack Obama.” That’s pretty incredible.

Conventional Wisdom says the same people wouldn’t turn out to vote, but I think that’s being proven wrong this year. They said 2004 would be the first internet presidential election, and it may have been, but this is definitely a more interesting one from the social media aspect. Presidential Election 2.0, which ought to offend everyone with a brain.
