Misc: Outing the Conservatives
Man, I can’t seem to get over this obsession I have with morons. I was reading up on Battle Born News today and saw their video of candidate Richard Disney debating an anti-war protestor person in the middle of the counter-protest the other day. And I have to give Disney credit. I always thought the guy was a tool (I mean, just look at his website – the picture, the ripped off Disney font, the Kerry-esque military pics), and my feeling was only reinforced when freedom hating, terrorist coddling Eric Odom mentioned hanging out with him. But Disney is respectful and genuinely tries to debate the woman, who is a bit intimidated by the other dipshits that keep chirping at her. My only critique of Disney would have been to stick to one issue, win it, then move on as opposed to blasting her with three questions at a time.
But one thing about the video just irked me. The woman is obviously losing, and I assume everyone involved has an interest in staying civil, but the assbag in the backwards hat is just a tool. I mean, look at him. And a backwards hat? With sunglasses? And a goatee? Now, I know a couple of people that know these things (at least, they assure me they do) and I was told that backwards hat = signal to the others that you are one of them, if you know what I mean. And I thought we all knew that goatees meant that too. Now, I have no idea who that guy is, but if I had to make a guess, I’d say, no, I’d swear his Razr phone was not a black one, but one of the new pink ones. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.

Mr. Jerz,
I’ve been living in the Peoples Republic of Seattle for 11 years now, and the only thing that keeps me hanging on is the secure knowledge that someday, perhaps 10 years from now, I’ll get to move back to the Great Red State of Nevada. Well, that and Wolf Pack football and basketball. And salmon fishing. And the oysters at Anthony’s Homeport down at the pier. I don’t want to forget that. Where was I? Oh yeah, anyway, please, don’t allow it to become another liberal hell-hole.
Patrick,
I’m pretty sure that won’t happen. I think you may have caught this entry slightly out of context. I’m not slamming conservatives at all, I am one. I’m really going after a particular group of people who I jokingly insulted. One particular member couldn’t take it (read the comments), so in what I refer to as my world class diplomacy ways, I pushed back just a bit. Now I am fighting for justice by making sure that when they do things, they don’t do stupid things that ultimately hurt our cause. That’s all.
Thanks for reading, and when you make it down this way, drop me a line, and we’ll grab a beer.

Mmm…Beer!
I’ll be down for a football game and let you know which one. And, yes, we need to keep the idiot outliers in line. I looked at that Reno area “conservative” website when you linked it before. I was surprised you continue to visit. It’s too bad you don’t have more time to blog. You have an interesting perspective. I can tell, though, that you have a pretty full life as it is, without having to think of multiple posts per day.
