Misc: Useless

A short list of things I recently deleted from my computer(s)

  • Pictures of me in my office (I can’t participate in CubeSelf because I have an office)
  • Something called Locomotive 2
  • Some other thing called Mindjet MindManager
  • The ridiculous Flock

Now you know.

Don’t think in such literal terms. I don’t work in a cube either, except to say that we are all operating in or around some sort of cube. Come on in!

Like Mindjet MindMapper. Flock does appear to be useless for me as well.

I don’t really know what MindManager does, but I used it this summer…maybe even when I was working with you guys.

Robert, two things: 1) I’m patently against philosophy, so the whole “we’re all in a cube” thing is nonsense to me, 2) I take “CubeSelf” to be inherently discriminatory against the upper classes of professional life, to which I belong. I will not participate on those grounds.

dude, i get the cube correlation, but i have an office too, and prefer to think of the project as more of a self-to-the-third-power kind of “cubed”. and its kind of funny and fun. belong to the fun, jerz…

I’ve found myself with three browsers open with three different profiles active. Flock is a good tool to have when you have to have three.

MindManager is great for making outlines. I use it every day.

Is your office by any chance a 6 sided 3 dimensional geometric object?

Locomotives have been obsolete for quite some time…

At the risk of sounding totally badass, my office is The Octagon, baby! (Not really, and I don not condone violence such as Ultimate Fighting or whatever it’s called this week. I do, however, think American Gladiators is cool. Chuck Lidell did roids, btw.)
