Link: Q&A with Lawrence Lessig

In his answer about Naïveté, I’m reminded of the efforts to use Twitter to enact social change. It’s a noble goal, for sure, but seems impossibly naïve. And one time, David Bobzien, a Nevada Assemblyman and local web star said, “thinking we can port representative democracy to tweets and hashes is ludicrous.” It echoed my thoughts at the time perfectly. However, in reading what Lessig had to say in the same context, I could be turned around on it. Lessig is smart enough to do that sort of thing for me. (Link)
